Thomas Tull

Managing Partner, TWG

Thomas Tull is the Founder and Chairman of the United States Innovative Technology Fund (USIT), a tech investing fund that backs growth-stage, dual-application companies in the fields of quantum computing, AI, cyber, satellites, biotechnology, and space. Notable investments include Anduril Industries, ShieldAI, Capella Space, Lambda Labs, Celestial AI and Halo Industries. He also serves as the Managing Partner of TWG Global, an investor and builder of businesses across American industry and is heavily involved with MIT, serving as the Advisor to the Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer and a member of the School of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council.

 

Prior to USIT and TWG, Tull founded Tulco, LLC, a privately held company that invests in companies driving industry-changing innovation, and Legendary Entertainment, a film financing and production company.

 

Tull is an active philanthropist, serving as a trustee of Carnegie Mellon University, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the National Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Smithsonian Institution. He is also part of the ownership groups of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the six-time Super Bowl champions, and the New York Yankees, the 27-time World Series champions. Tull graduated from Hamilton College.
