Academic Year 2025-2026 Mullen Scholarship Recipients
Klaudia Litardo, a senior majoring in International Relations and Political Science on the Intelligence Analyst track, is currently conducting research through the Jack D. Gordon Institute’s National Security Studies Certificate and Intelligence Fellowship programs on Ecuador’s willingness to align with U.S. counterterrorism designations of transnational criminal organizations, with a focus on Albanian mafia–linked drug trafficking networks. Klaudia currently interns with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and has participated in Diplomacy Lab projects with U.S. Southern Command, gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of intelligence and diplomacy.

Alina Sierra, a senior majoring in International Relations on the Intelligence Analyst track, and who is also currently conducting research through the Jack D. Gordon Institute’s National Security Studies Certificate and Intelligence Fellowship program is examining how Latin American transnational criminal organizations are leveraging emerging technologies—such as drones and cryptocurrency—to evade U.S. law enforcement efforts. Her work highlights the evolving technological challenges facing modern intelligence and security agencies.
“At Pallas, we believe talent and dedication to public service should never be limited by financial barriers,” said Sue Gordon, President of the Pallas Foundation. “Klaudia and Alina are pursuing research and gaining hands-on experience that directly supports U.S. national security priorities. By supporting students like them, we are helping build a pipeline of thoughtful, innovative leaders prepared to confront emerging global threats and strengthen the security of our nation and our allies.”
