Admiral Michael G. Mullen
U.S. NAVY (RETIRED) · 17TH CHAIRMAN OF THE JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF
Admiral Mullen served as the 28th Chief of Naval Operations and the 17th Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff. His distinguished career of service inspires the Initiative's commitment to developing diverse, capable leaders for our nation's most critical challenges.
The Mullen Initiative provides scholarships to students pursuing national security-related degrees at partner institutions — reaching talented individuals who might otherwise lack access to careers in national defense and public service.
